State Modifiers

Alpha Property

The alpha property is your best friend when it comes to properly showing and hiding visual elements of your layout.

State Modifiers

Using state modifiers, we can create different visual states of our nodes in the UI Editor. We will use a combination of state modifiers and the alpha property to demonstrate visible and hidden states.

Active States & State List

One of the many facets of the UI Editor is to improve workflow. Having the active states and states list clearly visible allows us to understand which states are currently active and available to use in our layout.

Reset Modifier States

Debugging is an important feature of the UI Editor, you may encounter situations where you need to see the original states of all of your nodes. The UI editor offers us a clear method of accomplishing this by resetting our modifier states.

Easing & Duration

State modifiers allow us to set an easing and duration when transitioning between visible states. This is an advanced feature but offers a high level of visual appeal when creating your layouts.
